No GST charged by us. We supply from Australia, so we do not charge New Zealand GST, and NZ$20 is the whole amount we charge you. How that is treated on your own return depends on your GST registration. We cannot advise on it; your accountant can confirm it.

The free allowance is per workspace, not per user or per company. Head contractor subcontract activations draw on the same allowance.

A note for anyone reading the app settings. Each region carries a tax rate used to calculate retention on your own construction invoices. That is about your transactions, not about what we charge you for using Retention Track.
Pricing questions
When am I charged for a contract?
On activation. A contract is charged once, when you activate it, and never again for the life of that contract however long it runs.
What happens after my three free contracts?
The fourth contract you activate is charged at NZ$20. Nothing changes about the first three.
Do extra users cost anything?
No. Users, companies and contractors inside a workspace are unlimited. The only thing that is ever charged is a contract activation.
What if a contract runs for five years?
You still pay once. The charge is per contract, not per year, and a long defects liability period costs no more than a short one.
Is GST added in New Zealand?
Not by us. We supply from Australia, so we do not charge New Zealand GST, and NZ$20 is the whole amount we charge you. Whether anything follows on your own return depends on your GST registration, which your accountant can confirm. We are not able to advise on it.
